We designed a public building that answered the playful and educational activities of the present society with modern architecture. The building houses all of the multimedia activities and creates a new centrality in the city. It consisted on a big space where one can find recent books, access the Internet or even read the press. There we also find rooms where we can listen to music or watch films.A new concept of library could be born in Southern Europe, Spain, Barcelona.

The information society and libraries
Books will never lose their place. However, there is a constant source of innovation in new technologies and virtual and augmented reality that can be used to educate communities. This media library project essentially aims to attract new audiences for reading and knowledge. The architectural project ends up reflecting all these new functionalities with a mix of closed and open spaces. Open spaces allows us to browse books. Closed spaces allow us to experience immersive experiences.
